How to care for your rose bushes - Here at Rose-Buddy we are as passionate about roses as you are. Our research has taught us many things about growing healthy roses.
Here are a few tips to help you with growing healthy and beautuful roses.
- Use Rose-Buddy every 30 days during the rose growing season.
- Keep area around roots clear of all debris. This will help the plant absorb it’s nutrients and Rose-Buddy better. One of the benefits of using Rose-Buddy, was a noticeable increase in photo-synthesis.
This is nature's process of leaves turning sunshine into food. More leaves = More food. This is the way nature intended to feed all plants including roses. This is Rose-Buddy’s intention too. After a few months, you’ll notice the Rose-Buddy rose bush has more leaves than a comparable rose bush. These leaves absorb more sunlight and therefore send more food to the plant. This equals Beautiful, Fragrant and very Healthy Roses.
- Don’t over water. This leads to Root Rot.
- Water directly on roots. Do not water the leaves or flowers. This leads to BlackSpot and other Rose Diseases.
- Thin out excess leaves and branches. The improved air circulation helps the leaves to dry out faster, especially after it rains. Helps to slowdown onset of Black Spot, Powdery Mildew and Rust.
- Rose Bush Growing: Plant your Roses in the ground. Apply All Natural Rose Buddy immediately after planting. Planting in the ground keeps the root system warmer in the winter than Plastic Pots, which actually conduct cold. If this is not possible, use clay pots. Make sure you use good potting soil and check the ph level to make sure the soil is balanced correctly. It should be between 6.5-7. Cut back roses before winter in colder climates. In warmer climates, roses can bloom almost all year round.
- Bare Root Roses love to soak in Rose-Buddy before being planted. Take 2oz of Rose-Buddy, pour into an 6oz glass of water. Let the Bare Root soak in this (in the bare root bag) for 2-3 weeks, then plant.
